Files
Browse, view and edit the workspace’s files. Add one from the tile picker as Files.
Browsing
The left pane is the file tree; the right pane shows the selected file.
- Lane selector — browse the main workspace or any lane’s clone.
- Filter files — type at least two characters to filter by file name. Esc clears it.
- Show file tree / Hide file tree collapses the tree, and Refresh tree reloads it. You can also drag the tree’s edge to resize it.
The selected file, open folders, lane and view settings are remembered on the tile.
Viewing
Files open in View mode. Markdown files can switch between their source and a rendered preview (Render markdown preview). In the preview, links to other workspace files open in the same tile, relative to the file you’re reading.
Images, audio and video play inline instead of opening as text. Binary files can’t be opened, and text files over 5 MB are refused.
Copy file contents copies the whole file.
Editing
Switch to Edit to change a file in the editor, and save with Save (Ctrl+S) or ⌘/Ctrl+S. Esc leaves edit mode; with unsaved changes it asks whether to discard them.
If the file changes on disk while you’re viewing it — say, an agent edits it — the tile reloads it. If you have unsaved edits, the tile shows File changed on disk instead, with View diff, Keep mine, Keep theirs and Dismiss, so neither version is lost silently.
